Please be advised that upcoming construction street work will require a full closure of Cornell Road (south and north of Agoura Road) and Agoura Road (starting at Cornell Road going east, past the Agoura Road Whizin Driveway). To minimize overall disruption to the community, roadway grinding and paving work will be completed during a single extended workday rather than through multiple closures over several days.
The full road closure is scheduled to occur Monday, June 22, 2026.
Closure Details
- Construction P1- 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM (anticipated): Cornell Road (south and north of Agoura Road) will be inaccessible during this time. Please take detours on Kanan Road and Roadside Drive.
- Construction P2 – 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (maximum): Agoura Road (starting at Cornell Road going east, past to the Agoura Road Whizin Driveway) will be inaccessible during this time. Please take detours on Lewis Road and Roadside Drive.
Access During Construction
- Agoura Road Whizin Driveway: Will be closed during construction (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM, maximum).
- Cornell Road North Whizin Driveway: Will remain open and accessible throughout construction.
- Cornell Road South Whizin Driveway: Will be closed during construction (6:00 AM – 12:00 PM, anticipated).
- Parking on Cornell Road (between Agoura Road and Roadside Drive): There will be no-parking on the street during construction (6:00 AM – 12:00 PM, anticipated).
