As construction moves forward, Southern California Edison (SCE) will conduct planned power outages, necessary to relocate their power lines underground. This undergrounding of utilities—made possible by the Ladyface Greenway Project—improves safety, enhances reliability, and helps protect utility lines from weather-related disruptions. While these outages are expected to occur between now and fall, SCE will notify customers of the specific dates and times. The Ladyface Greenway Team is not provided specifics due to safety protocols. Once SCE begins their undergrounding work, we will send an update advising you to watch for a notice directly from SCE.
To find out when your power may be affected, we recommend signing up for outage alerts from SCE. These alerts will keep you informed with real-time updates via email, text, or phone—helping you stay prepared and minimize disruptions. In this notice, we’ll walk you through the simple steps to sign up for these alerts.
Steps
1. Visit www.sce.com/outage-center.
2. Click on “Get Alerts”.
3. Sign up for outage alerts. Choose either:
A. Outage and PSPS Alerts for SCE Customers (Account Holder); or ,
B. PSPS Address Alerts for Non-SCE Customers (Tenants).
4. Once signed in, click on Preference Center.
5. Use toggles to turn on alerts and input desired contact information (email, text, or phone call).
