The Agoura Road closure that was scheduled to begin December 29 and last approximately 10 business days has been postponed. We will notify the public at least two weeks in advance once a new closure date is scheduled.
In the meantime, we’re happy to share some good news: the overhead utility lines and poles along Cornell Road and Agoura Road have been successfully removed and placed underground. This marks an important milestone in the project and improves both safety and aesthetics in the area.
Your patience and cooperation are appreciated as we work to improve our community!
Milestone Reached
Utility Lines have been successfully removed and placed underground!
Undergrounding utility lines improves reliability by reducing outages caused by weather, fallen trees, and vehicle accidents. It also enhances public safety, minimizes maintenance
disruptions, and improves the overall appearance of the roadway by removing overhead wires and poles.
