The Ladyface Greenway Project completed drilling for pile installation on the north side, started drilling on the south side and is preparing to start placing support beams onto the drilled foundations on the north.
These support beams, also known as pile caps, play a critical role in distributing the weight of the superstructure to the underlying piles. The installation process for the north side will take approximately two months and involve various heavy machinery which may result in minor dust, minimal noise, and slight vibrations.
Ongoing construction activities also include utility work in collaboration with SCE, AT&T, and Crown Castle, which is expected to continue for approximately six more months. This work is in preparation of undergrounding utility lines and removing existing poles which has an array of benefits such as improved reliability, enhanced safety, and better aesthetics. As work progresses, steel plates may be placed on Cornell Road and Agoura Road to cover utility excavations. Traffic control will be set up daily while work is continuing to ensure safety as both the utility and Ladyface Greenway construction crews work alongside each other. Please be aware, the traffic control may differ on a daily basis, depending on the work locations. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we continue to ensure the success of this project.
